Established in 1988, The Samuel Pepys is a very popular wine bar, restaurant and hotel in the heart of Old Harwich renowned for its innovative cuisine in a relaxed and informal setting.

Sir Roger Drury (1405), a superb brass from Rougham, Suffolk was commissioned as part of a recent refurbishment and is now the dramatic central feature of a busy area leading to the upstairs guest rooms and facilities.

Measuring 48 inches, Sir Roger is part of a two figure brass that also commemorates his wife, Margery - taking some 28 hours to complete within the church.
