1: The DRO commission price includes: the rubbing itself - fully mounted on the background of your choice, ready for framing; delivery to any one mainland address in the world; full transit insurance; a certificate of provenance; notes on the brass and church; ten postcards; photos of your commission in progress and general shots of the village or town location.

2: The DRO commission price does not include any applicable import duties, taxes or VAT that might be due on entry to the ultimate country of destination. Dave Read will undertake the relevant research at the enquiry stage, but determination and payment of such import duties, taxes or VAT are the ultimate responsibility of each client.

3: Wherever possible, a DRO commission will be completed an dispatched within thirty working days of confirmation and first payment.

4: You will be immediately notified if there is a prevailing waiting list - either through your enquiry or at the point of commission.

5: You will be asked to confirm details of your commission by e-mail that will become the recognise basis by both parties on which the commission will be undertaken.

6: You will be kept in touch by e-mail with the progress of your commission throughout the entire cycle.

7: Multiple commissions ordered on any one occasion will be delivered over a mutually agreed timescale.

8: A commission will be commenced upon receipt of confirmed details and cleared first payment of 50% of the stated price.

9: Please make cheques and Bankers Drafts payable in English Pounds Sterling to "David Read". A receipt will be immediately dispatched by both e-mail and overland mail. An invoice can be raised and dispatched by request.

10: Dave Read Originals is not currently registered for VAT in the UK.

11: A discount will be available on three or more commissions ordered at the same time.

12: Each DRO commission is packed and dispatched with the utmost care to ensure a pristine condition. However, if for any reason the brass rubbing itself is damaged on arrival and confirmed by the Courier Company, another rubbing will be made free of charge.

13: The copyright of each brass ultimately rests with the individual church that owns the brass. Each DRO commission is only made by permission on strict conditions. Consequently, use of your brass rubbing(s) as a commercial image is restricted to internal literature such as menus, room schedules and forms of internal information. Uses of your DRO commission as part of a wider corporate image or used within media or advertising campaigns will need the written permission of the relevant church. DRO can supply the relevant contact details on request.
